Abstract Group merges with Annodata Print Services a division of Annodata Limited
On 31st December 2011 Hertfordshire based print production agency Abstract Group and Annodata Print Services joined forces through an undisclosed equity for investment deal. Abstract Group will remain as the trading company with a name change to Abstract – an Annodata company to reflect both parties’ interests.
The companies are currently business neighbours in Hertfordshire. Annodata also house a large 30,000 sq ft production facility in Houghton Regis, Bedfordshire along with a Central London sales and digital production facility in Great Portland Street which will also merge as part of this transaction.
The new joint venture will result in a powerful force in the marketplace. Its combined service offering will be wide ranging and is designed to meet the growing expectations of today’s marketer.
Management of Abstract remains - Alan Harbison as Managing Director, Simon Breeze as Sales and Marketing Director with Philip Hutton joining Abstract from Annodata as Operations Director.
Annodata currently has sales of around £60m over 11 UK locations and Abstract will compliment their offering adding a further £9m of sales across their 3 sites.
